Acting Career Of Mamta Kulkarni
Mamta started her acting career with the 1992 movie Tirangaa. In 1993, she starred in Aashiq Awara and won the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. Later, she had a cameo in a song in Ghatak: Lethal (1996).
In 1998, she played the lead role in China Gate, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, which was a remake of Seven Samurai. After China Gate, Mamta Kulkarni appeared in only a few movies, with her last hit being Chhupa Rustam: A Musical Thriller (2001).
She left the film industry after her 2002 movie Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum. Besides Hindi films, she also acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Malayalam movies. After leaving the film industry, Mamta Kulkarni moved to Dubai and became a yogini.
