Cricket Journey Of Nahid Rana
Nahid played his first first-class cricket match on 31 October 2021 for the Rajshahi Division in the 2021–22 National Cricket League. A year later, on 31 October 2022, he took his first five-wicket haul in first-class cricket during a match against Barishal Division in the 2022–23 National Cricket League.
In January 2023, Nahid Rana was chosen to play for the Khulna Tigers in the 2022–23 Bangladesh Premier League. He played his first Twenty20 match for the team on 24 January 2023 in that tournament.
In September 2023, Nahid Rana was included in Bangladesh’s team for the 2023 Asian Games. He made his Test debut for Bangladesh on 22 March 2024 in a match against Sri Lanka.
In the second innings of the second Test against Pakistan, Nahid bowled at a speed of 152.0 KPH, setting a record for the fastest ball ever bowled by a Bangladeshi pacer in international cricket.
