Cricketing Career Of Rohan Kunnummal

Rohan Sushil Kunnummal has played for Kerala in U-14, U-16, U-19, and U-25 competitions. In the 2016-17 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he scored 162 runs against Goa while playing for Kerala. He also represented India Green in the 2016-17 U-19 Challenger Trophy.

Rohan’s impressive performances in the Cooch Behar Trophy and Vinoo Mankad Trophy earned him a spot in the India U-19 team for a five-match one-day series against England U-19, starting on January 30, 2017.

He was also part of the Indian U-19 team for the Youth Test series against England U-19 in February 2017. In July 2017, Rohan was selected for Kerala’s squad in the KSCA Trophy. He made his List A debut for Kerala on March 3, 2017, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He played his first T20 match for Kerala on February 28, 2019, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Rohan made his first-class debut for Kerala on January 19, 2020, during the Ranji Trophy.

Rohan played for Kerala XI in the 2021-22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy after veteran Robin Uthappa got injured. He ended the tournament as Kerala’s second-highest run-scorer.

He also scored his first-ever first-class century against Meghalaya on the opening day of the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy. In August 2022, Rohan was selected for the South Zone team in the 2022-23 Duleep Trophy.
