In 2023, Vaibhav Suryavanshi played for the India B U19 team in a Quadrangular series, scoring 177 runs in six innings, including two fifties. In September 2024, he made his India U19 debut in a youth Test match against Australia U19.
In that match, he scored a blazing century off just 58 balls, the fastest ever by an India U19 player, before being run out for 104. His knock included 14 fours and 4 sixes, making it the second-fastest U19 century ever, after Moeen Ali’s 56-ball century in 2005.
