Sethi passed away from a heart attack on September 8, 2024, at the age of 48. Doctors have noticed an increase in heart attacks happening while people are asleep. The symptoms, especially in younger patients, are often not what they typically expect.
His wife, Jhanvi Sethi, told the media that Vikas was feeling unwell in the hours before he passed away. She remembered that they had traveled from Mumbai to Nashik for a family event, and Vikas felt dehydrated during the trip.
Jhanvi told PTI that Vikas didn’t want to go to the hospital, so they had a doctor come to their home instead. They were staying at her parents’ house in Nashik when Vikas passed away in his sleep. She mentioned that after they arrived at her mother’s house, Vikas started vomiting and had diarrhea.
Jhanvi said that they called the doctor, who then confirmed Vikas’s death. She explained that when she went to wake him up around 6 a.m. on Sunday, he had already passed away. The doctor told them he died in his sleep from a heart attack.
