Baba Ziauddin Siddique was an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Vandre West constituency. He was elected as an MLA for three straight terms in 1999, 2004, and 2009.
During his time in office, he also worked as the Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies, and Labour between 2004 and 2008, under Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh’s government.

Political Journey Of Baba Siddique
Ziauddin Siddique, better known as Baba Siddique, started his political journey by joining the Indian National Congress (INC) as a teenager in 1977. By 1980, he became the General Secretary of the Bandra Youth Congress, and within two years, he was elected as its president.
In 1988, he took on a bigger role, becoming the president of the Mumbai Youth Congress. Baba Siddique became an MLA for the Bandra West Assembly Constituency in 1999. He was re-elected twice, in 2004 and 2009, serving three terms in a row.
The Maharashtra government also appointed him Chairman of the MHADA Mumbai Board from 2000 to 2004. Baba Siddique was also the Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies, Labour, FDA, and Consumer Protection from 2004 to 2008.
In 2011, he helped fund the creation of an Eco-Garden in the Bandra-Khar area. On February 8, 2024, Baba Siddique resigned from the Indian National Congress. A few days later, on February 12, 2024, he joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Ajit Pawar.
